Happy Thursday lovelies!!!
For this week’s Bloggie Bestie Blog Swap, let’s welcome back
Miss Ashley of Being Grown Up!
You might remember her from this post, when she stopped by for the first time to introduce herself!
Today she will be sharing a lovely tutorial with you all on something she made for her sweet baby girl’s nursery!
In case you didn’t already realize… Ashley was one of the contestants on The American Crafter this season… Her nursery was what got her in… So you’ve gotta check it out!! 😉
Check out my tutorial at Ashley’s blog today here! 🙂
Good Morning Followers of The Truly Lovely Laney Sisters!!
So glad to be visiting you guys again!
I’m Ashley from Being Grown Up,
if you haven’t ever checked out my blog, it’s in your best interest to go check it out!!
Especially since your wonderful Kassi is posting over there today! I’m sure she would love to see some of her lovely followers leave her some comments!!
Today I am going to be sharing with you one of my favorite projects I have been putting all around my house lately!!
Chicken Wire Frames
This is one of the simplest projects I have ever done, and they look great in ANY room in the house!!
This is in my nursery being used as a bow holder!!
Here’s a close up!
We also have one painted bright red in our kitchen that we will SOON be hanging recipes on, and there is a black one in my mom’s bedroom that she hangs pictures on!!!
You can use these frames ANYWHERE and they are always handy!!
Like I said this project is SUPER easy!!
All you need is a:
- cheap frame (we get ours at the resale store, but sometime’s Hobby Lobby has great sales on theirs!)
- chicken wire (from your local hardware store)
- clothes pins
- and a staple gun!
First you spray paint or paint your frame!!
Then you will measure out your chicken wire and cut it to fit (you might need some wire cutters for this unless you have some super strong scissors laying around).
Then you get out your staple gun and start stapeling!!
Use the clothes pins to hang whatever you like on your new super cute chicken wire frame!
I hope everyone enjoyed this quick tutorial!!
I want to thank the Laney Sister’s for having me over here today!!!
If you liked this post than come check out some more!!
I’d love to see some of you guys over at my blog!
Can’t wait to see all you lovely followers again sometime, hopefully sooner than later 🙂
