Hello lovelies!! Happy Almost Friday! 😉
Today we’d like to introduce you to
Lesley of Freaking Craft!!!
What a fun blog name, right?!?!
Lesley has been linking here to Fancy This Fridays for awhile now and always has GREAT crafting ideas!!! Like this one and this one that we featured from the linky! 😉
She’s here today to share a few more of her fun projects with you all!
When you’re finished leaving her some bloggie lovin’ below, I’m over at her place sharing a few of MY projects! 😉 Hope you’ll pop over and say hi!
woohoo! i’m lesley from www.freakingcraft.com.
i’m wicked excited to be a bloggie bestie today. i’m pretty new to the blogging community, and the laney girls were some of my first people i got to *meet. so they (and their blog) have a special place in my heart!*sniff, sniff…ok. enough cheesy stuff.
i live in virginia with my super cute and equally cool husband, whom i call boss (ps, that’s what he calls me too) and our incredibly bright and dramatic daughter, lady m.
as my profession, i’m an actor and an educator. so i’m artistic at heart. i have this innate desire to create. all. the. time. so. i discovered the world of crafting. and i have to admit, i freaking love it.but more than that, i love to take something that i’ve most likely purchased at a thrift store/goodwill or at a yardsale and transform it into something that freaking makes me smile.
check out a few of my favorite projects. ps. don’t judge the quality of some of my earlier pics. how in the world did i ever try to do anything without picnik and other basic photo tips?…sheesh louise…but i digress…
this is probably one of my favorite projects. i call it my wall o’ frames
let’s be honest. super cheap frames turned into super rad decor. it’s the first thing that people mention when they enter my home…(thankfully it’s not the dust/dirty floors/dishes in the sink, etc…*sigh).
they’re cute. lady m loooved them. and coolest part…they cost me less than $1.
what the what?
one final post…to prove that crafting doesn’t have to take itself so seriously. i’m a huge fan of decorations and projects having a sense of humor (not that my house looks like the circus-though that might be cool).
i love having nice things-but i love also having little things that freaking make me smile in my house…this project was one of those things:
we made these for a night of watching the walking dead. i love my zombiebread men. how could you not? they’re delicious. and dead. teeheesweet.
thanks, truly lovely for the chance to meet your readers! i’d love for you guys to come over and play at my blog. right now, i’ve got some cool printables like this one and this one.
She’s too fun, right?!?
And all of her projects are easily recreate-able for your own home!
Don’t forget I’m over at Freaking Craft today! Hope to see you there! 🙂
