Hello, Truly Lovely readers!
I’m Paige from The Creative Paige and I am so excited to be blog swapping with Kassi today – she continues to amaze me with all of her great ideas! She’s posting a super cute tote bag tutorial over at my blog today – be sure to jump over and check it out!

At The Creative Paige you’ll find a bit of this and that – crafts, recipes, and anything else I think is fun, interesting or creative. The one thing you will always find is that all of my projects are cheap and simple.

Today, I’ve got an easy peasy idea for you – a custom Menu Board.A Menu Board? Not too long ago I would’ve thought this idea was pretty pointless…I didn’t understand meal planning and didn’t think I would ever do it. However, when we lived in Mexico, running to the store was much more complicated than in the States and my husband quickly tired of me sending him multiple times a week to grab me one item I needed for dinner. So, I started trying to plan our meals. I began sitting down on Sunday afternoon and would plan our week of meals. I have to admit – we saved money and had much better dinners! Somehow planning meals made my life less complicated! Before I used a plain white board in my kitchen, but I’ve see so many cute ideas for menu boards, I had to make one. So, my friends and I got together for a craft night.

This project was so easy that I couldn’t even take step-by-step pictures…here are the finished products:

I bought my frame from Joanns (the one in the middle) during their 50% off sale so it was only $10! I just used scrapbook paper, sticker letters, some adhesive, a dry erase marker
and voila!

This was such an easy and cheap project and I love how it turned out.We don’t have our own place to live yet, so I have no where to hang it, but when we do…this will definitely be up in my kitchen! Thanks, Kassi for letting me be a Bloggie Bestie this week!

I know I need to make us one of these!! Thanks so much for sharing your Menu Board with us today Paige and for being this week’s Bloggie Bestie at Truly Lovely!!!
