Dream Blogger Meetup – SAVE in San Antonio

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of SAVE for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

We love our amazing Truly Lovely readers… One of the things I most want to do is be able to meet and spend some time with our blogger friends from all around the country/world!! How fun would it be to plan a dream blogger meetup where we could all meet, hang out, see the sites and enjoy ourselves!?!?

I don't know about you, but I've always wanted to visit San Antonio! I think it would be the perfect location for our event!! This summer with the SAVE – San Antonio Vacation Experience it would be so easy to make our dream blogger meetup a reality through the exclusive discounts, deals and other Limited Time Offers

So, let's plan our trip shall we???

First off we'd get a couple of rooms in a nice San Antonio hotel! Perhaps the Grand Hyatt San Antonio! It's located right on River Walk where we'd have beautiful views from our rooms, plus we could meet up and break the ice over a cocktail at Bar Rojo, then spend the next morning lounging at their rooftop pool!! All on a SAVE rate of $129-$289! We could book a Respire room and save over $40 on the normal reservation rate!

Next on our to do list would definitely be a tour of all the sites!!! You can't visit San Antonio and not see all of the amazing historical locations!

If you bring the kiddos with you they'll receive a $2 discount and we (the adults) would receive $5 off an Alamo Sightseeing Tour! The Grand Tour displays all of San Antonio's most famous sites including the Alamo, Buckhorn Saloon and Musem and the Texas Ranger Museum! With our SAVE discounts we'd even save $2 per person on the museum admissions!

How fun would it be to spend a day or two at San Antonio's Splashtown!  We'd be able to score up to $42 through the SAVE program FYI! 😉 Including $7 off each person's admission into the theme park!

One of our vacation days would definitely be spent at Sea World! "Aquatica", a brand new aquatic park just opened this season! We'd be able to hang out and relax on the sandy beaches, while the kiddos got some time up close and personal with the sea life! A four pack of admission tickets is only $189.99 with our SAVE coupon! That's a nearly $50 savings from the normal gate admission for four people!

We're always up for an adventure, as our most of our lovely readers, so during our stay we'd spend some fun time at Six Flags Fiesta Texas! They've got several discounts available throught the SAVE progam… Perhaps we would use the buy one get one free SAVE coupon and save the $58.99 general admission fee for two adults to get into the park!!! 😉 Who's going to ride the roller coaster with me?!

Six Flags_Poltergeist and Scream.tif

You know we'd do some San Antonio shopping!!! Bloggers love to shop, am I right!?! We'd each recieve a Free Premier Passport to The Shops at La Cantera, and a Free VIP Coupon Booklet to the Tanger Outlets! Bloggers love coupons too… Just saying. 😉

After spending so much time chatting, shopping, and exploring we'd be sad to leave our new, now REAL life blogger buddies and head back home… You'd be sad to leave us too, right!?
And just look, if you go back and add up all the savings through the SAVE – San Antonio Vacation Experience we would have saved around $125 per adult on our adventure!!! 🙂

So what do you say friends?
If we all could meet for a blogger dream vacation, what would be on your to do list?

  1. This post totally makes me want to go there and I’ve never even thought about it as a vacation spot before!

  2. I LOVE LOVE LOVE San Antonio! Definitely one of my favorite cities in the USA. I’d definitely consider attending (regardless of what city it was in, but this just makes me want to go that much more)! If I were to have a blogger meet-up vacation, I think I’d mostly just want time to get to know people. I’d want fun activities to do, but I’d love to see different sides of people and learn about them in ways that blogging doesn’t really allow. I think what you have in mind is a really good way to do that!

I agree completely!! You don’t want to be so bogged down with activities that you don’t get time to talk and get to know the others there!! If we were to host a dream blogger meet up you can bet there’d be tons of time for that! 🙂

  3. I’m way too cheap to pay for those blog conferences, but this would be a blast!

    • Kassi @ Truly Lovely says:

Right!?! Some of them are outrageously expensive!!! But this? Totally doable!

  4. We went to SA this year for our anniversary and had a blast! Sea World is a MUST!!!

I love the photos you shared from your trip! And the videos from Sea World were so neat!!!
