Happy Thursday Dears!!! Sorry I’m so late! The birthday celebration in Kassi’s honor rolls on! 
Today I’m gonna show you how to make the sweet zebra print cake I whipped up for her over the weekend!

If you know my sister, you know she LOVES zebra print. I couldn’t think of a more fitting cake! So the post I used can be found here. And here’s what I did.
This is what you’ll need:
1 box of vanilla or white cake mix { Um yeah, we’re using boxed mixes. You’re welcome! }
1 box of devils food cake mix
Preheat your oven according to the instructions for your mixes. (Mine had different temperatures so I went with 350*) You’ll begin by preparing your cake mixes according to the directions on the box in separate bowls. Then get your cake pans ready. I greased AND floured mine and my cakes came out easily. Getting everything ready ahead of time will make the process more efficient.

After you’re all prepared, you can start pouring your batter into your pan. You’ll start with 1/4 cup of one batter in the center of your pan, then right on top of that you’ll do a 1/4 cup of the other batter. It’ll look like this:
As you add batter, it’ll spread out. You’ll do this over and over, alternating batters until your pan is about 2/3 full. When you put your cakes in, they’ll look like this:
Once baked, I cut the top of my first layer so that it was flat, then I frosted and stacked the layers with store-bought icing. (: And that’s it!
Definitely a hit!
